my sons soccer team is trying to find sponsorship any ideas or any takers the team is in hertfordshire, UK?

My my sons soccer team despretly needs sponsorship so it can buy new kits and equipment ETC can anyone give me some ideas

Local sports stores are great, you can also offer them promotion and advertising within the footbal club for the teams members with things like boots and shinpads. Possibly advertising space on any programmes for tournaments and such? There would be some sort of revenue for them from it, this is your best bet! try local sole traders rather than the big sports names.

What’s the best soccer training program i can do with only a month left before the season?

I start soccer in late november and i need to get back in shape so i don’t look too bad on the first day of practice. Any suggestions??

jog with the ball its good excersise and DONT picck it up untill you get at least a mile that should help and kick the ball alot

How can i find or contact sponsors for a kids soccer team?

My son is in soccer team at a local church, but is a program for low income families like my self. We need lots of equipment for the kids and new uniforms and meaby a little more like a new couch for our kids to help the couch that we have now . Please help me!!!!

Try asking local companies if they will help by sponsoring you. Do sponsorship events and hold raffles etc. If you could get a local business helping you it will be better for you. Also ask your local football team if they will help, contact their Community team.

Is soccer "popular" around the world as a spectator sport because its so third world cheap and unmanly?

The common perceptions on why soccer is actually "popular" in other countries bring up these two points:

1) Soccer is dirt cheap, cheaper than any other sport ever. No country except America can afford sports other than soccer, because if you look at real sports they require stadiums, tv equipment, coaches, pads and helmets…etc.

2) Yes some countries like England and Germany can afford REAL sports, but they don’t have the masculine culture required for manly sports like baseball and football.

Can anybody think of any other reasons?

What is manly? Is it the ability to beat up wives and girlfriends?
